How to file a complaint
- Email the grievance officer from your registered email address.
- Include your name, contact number, the nature of the complaint, dates, and any screenshots or transaction references.
- For takedown requests about business information, include the business name and its Google Maps listing link.
Timelines
- Acknowledgement within 24 hours of receipt.
- Resolution within 15 days of receipt.
- Requests to remove unlawful or privacy-violating content are actioned within 36 hours of a valid order or 72 hours for information requested by a lawful authority.
If you are not satisfied
You may escalate to the National Consumer Helpline (1915), the e-Daakhil consumer portal, the Grievance Appellate Committee (gac.gov.in) or the Data Protection Board of India, as applicable.
